Personal Growth Plan: Why you need it and How to get started with it.

The novel Corona Virus, Covid-19, continues to pose a great threat to individuals, corporations and governments across the globe.

No one appears to be safe. Almost all of the world’s workforce have been forced to work from home.

I believe the current period affords individuals greater opportunities to take another look at their Personal Growth and how much they can do about it.

Personal Growth continues to be a hard nut to crack for most persons because of their inability to get a hand on what it is and how to go about it.

However, I have come to understand from experience, observation and learning that the most effective way to grow and also measure one’s growth in life is to have a plan in place for one’s growth.

As I will always say, growth is a continuous journey towards our better selves.

No one can grow effectively without a definite plan for his or her growth.

A plan is simply a detailed draft for doing or achieving something.

With the simple understanding of personal growth, I can say that a personal growth plan is simply a detailed draft of actions and steps to take in order to become better in any area or areas of one’s life.

Every knowledgeable architect or builder knows and understands the importance of having a plan for the setting up of a building.

The plan covers every aspect of the building, detailing each component that will go in to the building including where what component will be located and when each component will be put in place.

Businesses do not become successful without a plan and Champions become Champions simply by having and following game plans.

The “How to” of a Personal Growth Plan

To start off, set out time for a review of your present life journey and also a preview of the journey ahead.

A good personal growth plan must be able to answer the following questions, where, why, when, what and how.

That is to say, it must tell you where you are at the moment, where you intend to go, why you must get there, when you intend to get there, what you need to get there and how to get what you need in order to get there.

Your personal growth plan must state clearly what your present situation is, what destination is for you as an individual and the direction you need to take to get to that destination.
