Our History
The Double Edged Impact Network was borne out of a deep pain in the heart of Ifegwu-Mbonu Victor.
Founded on 3rd of February 2019 by Ifegwu-Mbonu, Victor C. as Double Edged Network. The Organisation started off first as an online learning platform until it met for the first time on 14th of April 2019 in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
The Double Edged Impact Network from then began to grow in its membership and reach, organising weekly training classes focused on the Organisation’s ‘3D Model’ of learning, helping members discover, develop and deploy themselves as change agents.
It was in the process of incorporating the Organisation with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria that the name of the Organisation was modified to Double Edged Impact Network in October 2019. After careful and strategic deliberation by the Governing Council, the name Double Edged Network was maintained for the Youth Clubs so as to differentiate it from the main Organisation, Double Edged Impact Network.
Today, the Double Edged Impact Network is fast growing into a community of professionals with its members in various careers and businesses.

The Double Edged Impact Network Is The Organization Of Tomorrow.
- Ifegwu-Mbonu Victor
Ifegwu-Mbonu Victor is the Founder of the Double Edged Impact Network. He founded the organization while still an undergraduate at the University Of Nigeria.
According to him, he never had a dream to found an organization as a student but this changed after speaking to two of his classmates who confided in him about their frustrations with life, not being sure of what to do with themselves and how to make the most of their time on campus.
He began researching organizations that he could invite to his campus to work on the problem he believes exist in most students on his campus. The few organizations he reached out to declined his invitation.
He took it upon himself to do something about the problem he has seen and that was what birthed the vision to found an organisation that could help individuals discover themselves, grow themselves, and also give them opportunity to make impacts/contributions in the society.
