The Project Nurture

The Project Nurture is an initiative of the Double Edged Impact Network (owners of The Emerge Club) and is aimed at helping interested members of The Emerge Club and other undergraduates across Nigeria improve themselves in areas of need through the provision of quality counsels, guidance and advice within a structured mentorship system.

The objectives of this project is to support the continuous learning and growth of the participants in the four focus areas of development:

  • Personal Growth
  • Academic
  • Leadership
  • Career
"Every child needs a hand to hold onto in order to stand. No matter how many times it falls, it is not afraid to rise so long there is a hand to hold onto. Mentorship affords the younger ones opportunity to hold on to the hands of those ahead of them. "

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

YES. The Project Nurture is open to only undergraduates of Higher Institutions in Nigeria and the rest of the African countries.

For the flagship of the Project Nurture and in recognition of the near impossibility of a face-to-face mentoring, the mentoring shall be delivered through electronic means. This involves providing mentorship through calls and various online platforms such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Emails and Zoom or as may be agreed upon by the mentor and mentee.

When necessary, the face-to-face mentoring mode shall be introduced.

Mentorship is available to all interested undergraduates upon application and acceptance into the Program.

Click on the Get Mentored button above.

For the time being, the Project Nurture is provided free of charge to participants.

The Project Nurture is designed to be experiential and engaging learning for both participants and mentors. We are therefore looking out for individuals who have the passion to be part of another’s growth journey and who have the needed experience (including having a first degree from a recognised institution) to bring about such change.
