Ahead of the launch of the Double Edged Equip Program we are looking to recruit volunteer support staff into our team.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Double Edged Equip Program is an Initiative of the Double Edged Impact Network and is aimed at bridging the noticed gaps in the Nigerian educational system by equipping undergraduates of Nigerian Tertiary Institutions with important adaptive skills to help set them on the path towards personal, career and business successes.
The Program aims to do these by providing structured teachings and training on important employability skills and other useful adaptive skills to participants in the program. It shall also provide opportunities to test the knowledge of its participants and for the participants to experience these skills at work.
AVAILABLE ROLES
We are looking to recruit Volunteers to work as Program Support Assistant, Social Media Manager, Publicists/Promoters for our flagship training Academy – Double Edged Equip Program.
The Volunteers will work with the Program Director in planning and coordinating all programs and activities of the Double Edged Equip Program.
They shall also be expected to provide other needed administrative and clerical supports to the DEEP team towards the overall success of the program.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read, write and communicate in an understandable manner.
- A Degree and other relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION/ ROLES
PROGRAM SUPPORT ASSISTANT
1. Provide administrative supports to the Program Team in the planning and execution of the Program.
2. Help in publicizing the Program in such a way as to attract needed participants.
3. Assist in registration and documentation of participants before, during and after the Program.
4. Serve as a liaison officer for the Program all through the duration of the Program.
5. Handle the welfare of invited guests and faculty members during the program.
6. Be ready to provide supports in any other area of need necessary for the success of the Program when called upon to do so.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
1. Manage the social media pages of DEEP.
2. Create and update all social media pages of DEEP with relevant contents all through the duration of the Program.
3. Assist in registration and documentation of participants before, during and after the Program.
4. Maintain active response rates to all enquiries and comments made through the various social media pages.
5. Be ready to provide supports in any other area of need necessary for the success of the Program when called upon to do so.
PUBLICIST/ PROMOTER
1. Promote and Publicise the Double Edged Equip Program using all means of publicity available to them – Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, flyers, posters, banners and word of mouth.
2. Use their social network to promote and encourage participation in the Program.
3. Assist in registration and documentation of participants before, during and after the Program.
4. Provide responses to all enquiries made directly to him/her.
5. Be ready to provide supports in any other area of need necessary for the success of the Program when called upon to do so.
